Jacobs is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer – SME to serve as a technical authority for electrical infrastructure supporting hyperscale and mission-critical facilities in the United States. You will shape electrical strategy from utility interconnection through IT load and mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities include leading MV/LV distribution design, UPS, transfer schemes, and power studies, with travel up to 25%.

Formación

• Education Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited program; Master's degree preferred.
• PE License (Required) Active Electrical PE license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction; NCEES record preferred.
• 15–20+ years of professional electrical engineering experience with data centers or high-reliability facilities.

Responsabilidades

• Lead electrical architecture from utility interconnection through IT load.
• Provide senior technical leadership for MV/LV distribution, substations, switchgear, and UPS systems.
• Review studies (load flow, short-circuit, arc-flash) using ETAP, SKM, EasyPower.
• Support design governance, reviews, and major design packages across teams.
• Lead project delivery from concept through turnover; manage RFIs and design changes.
• Support FAT/SAT, commissioning and integrated testing of critical power systems.
