Jacobs is seeking a seasoned Electrical Engineering Leader to shape critical power strategy for data centers and mission-critical facilities across the U.S. You will direct MV/LV distribution design, review studies, and guide teams through procurement, construction, and commissioning.

The role requires an active PE license, 15–20+ years of experience, and strong leadership in complex delivery environments. Travel up to 25% and a focus on standards, governance, and mentoring are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Active Electrical PE license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction; ability to obtain additional licenses.
• Typically 15–20+ years of professional electrical engineering experience.
• Advanced expertise in MV/LV distribution, switchgear, transformers, generator plants and paralleling.
• Power studies experience with ETAP, SKM PowerTools, EasyPower or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of NEC/NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, NFPA 110, IEEE 1584 and IEEE 3000-series.
• Leadership and delivery in EPCM, EPC, Design-Build, or similar environments.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsabilidades

• Lead electrical architecture basis of design and major technical decisions from utility service through IT load.
• Provide senior leadership for MV/LV distribution; coordinations, substations, transformers, and UPS systems.
• Lead or review load flow, short-circuit, protective coordination and arc-flash studies.
• Ensure independent technical governance across project teams and global delivery resources.
• Support project execution from planning to turnover; assist with RFIs and technical changes.
• Provide senior electrical support for FAT/SAT, startup and commissioning.
• Advise on AI/HPC power strategies and next-gen data center architectures.
• Mentor engineers and develop technical staff; contribute to standards and governance.
