Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a senior electrical engineering leader for data centers and hyperscale environments across the United States. The role focuses on critical power systems, MV/LV distribution, grounding, and reliability for large-scale facilities.

Ideal candidates bring 15–20+ years of experience, PE licensure, and expertise in ETAP/SKM/EasyPower, with a track record in EPCM or integrated delivery. The job supports hybrid work with opportunities across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• PE license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction; ABET-accredited BS in electrical engineering, MS preferred.
• 15–20+ years of professional electrical engineering experience in data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Experience with MV/LV distribution, switchgear, transformers, UPS, and paralleling.
• Knowledge of NEC/NFPA and IEEE standards; able to lead technical governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical architecture and basis of design for data-center power systems from utility to IT load.
• Provide senior technical leadership for distribution, switchgear, transformers, and UPS systems.
• Perform or review load flow, short-circuit, arc-flash studies using ETAP/SKM/EasyPower.
• Support design delivery from concept through turnover and commissioning.
