Job summary

Rosendin Electric seeks an Engineer III to lead engineering teams, provide technical guidance, and ensure conformance with project requirements and codes on major electrical systems.

The role requires a PE license, 5+ years of engineering experience, and strong leadership. Travel up to 50% is possible; on-site field experience is encouraged. Thorough knowledge of power distribution and coordination is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architectural engineering, or construction sciences.
• Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of Engineering Experience.
• One-year on-site field experience strongly encouraged.
• Licensure as a US-based Professional Engineer is required.
• Can be a combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical engineering subjects including power distribution, lighting, grounding, energy conservation, value engineering, applicable codes, standards, etc., is required to design state-of-the-art constructible projects.
• Proficient in Autodesk, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.), Illumination software, and Oracle software pertaining to Engineering Productivity and CAC generation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of engineers, designers, and staff on a project basis or individual initiative.
• May be the Engineer of Record for projects as assigned.
• Supervise, review, comment, and process equipment and system submittals.
• Supervise process coordination between architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and all electrical trades.
