Job summary

Rosendin Electric is seeking an experienced Engineer III to lead senior engineering activities on complex electrical projects. You will mentor staff, coordinate with architects, structures, and mechanical trades, and ensure designs meet project requirements and codes.

You will oversee designs for power, lighting, and related systems, conduct analyses, and prepare commissioning documentation. Travel up to 50% is expected on various projects nationwide.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of electrical engineering subjects.
• Proficient in Autodesk, Microsoft Office, Illumination software, and Oracle software pertaining to Engineering Productivity and CAC generation.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of engineers, designers, and staff on a project basis or individual initiative.
• May be the Engineer of Record for projects as assigned.
• Supervise, review, comment, and process equipment and system submittals.
• Supervise process coordination between architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and all electrical trades.
• Oversee the preparation of designs, including power, lighting, and auxiliary systems.
• Prepare documentation for the commissioning of a building.
• Review plans and technical specifications, contract documents, and estimates.
