Job summary

Rosendin seeks an experienced Engineer III to lead engineering teams on high-profile projects. The role requires strong electrical engineering expertise, PE licensure, and on-site field experience. You will mentor staff, coordinate multi-discipline design work, and ensure compliance with codes and project specs.

You will oversee power, lighting, and critical systems design, prepare diagrams and bids, and support commissioning efforts. Travel up to 50% is possible on complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architectural engineering, or construction sciences.
• Professional Engineer licensure required (US).
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience; on-site field experience encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering teams on projects or initiatives.
• May serve as Engineer of Record for assigned projects.
• Review and process equipment/submittals and coordinate with architectural/mechanical/electrical trades.
• Prepare power, lighting, and auxiliary system designs.
• Develop single-line diagrams and protection sizing.
• Conduct short circuit and arc flash studies; coordinate devices.
• Perform distribution analysis including voltage drop and heat calculations.
• Coordinate project specifications and equipment buy-outs.
• Visit job sites for field survey and validation.
• Utilize engineering tools and run loads/lighting studies.
• Contribute to value engineering exercises and project meetings.
• Coordinate design criteria with budget, schedule, and client interface.
• Resolve drawing interpretation conflicts and design issues.
• Prepare commissioning documentation for buildings.
