KFI Engineers is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead and deliver complex electrical projects from conception through startup. The role focuses on power distribution design, medium voltage development, and reliable building systems for industrial, district energy, and campus settings.

As a key client-facing engineer, you will coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, contribute to proposals, and provide technical leadership while maintaining schedule and budget compliance.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of Electrical Engineering experience.
• Professional Engineering registration or willingness to pursue.
• Experience in electrical utility generation and distribution systems.
• Knowledge of NEC/NFPA/NESC/ANSI-IEEE standards.
• Up to 25% domestic travel.

Responsabilidades

• Designs and supports power distribution systems (primary).
• Designs medium-voltage and 480V power systems for industrial utility and buildings.
• Designs building power and lighting systems including protective systems.
• Performs power system studies including load flow, short-circuit, arc flash, protective coordination, voltage drop, and harmonics (using SKM/PTW).
• Prepares specifications and reviews contractor submittals.
• Develops project plans, schedules, labor and cost estimates, and ensures budget scope.
