Job summary
WSP Global Inc. is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for complex building projects within the Property & Buildings team in California.
The role involves client engagement, mentorship of teams, and driving business growth across K-12, higher education, civic, and commercial sectors. You will oversee multi‑phase design from concept to close‑out, manage budgets and schedules, and contribute to pursuits and proposals while building strong client
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering required.
- 10+ years of post‑education experience as an Electrical Engineer.
- Experience with electrical design for building projects, including education/institutional sectors and DS A‑regulated projects.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, review, and approve electrical design plans, ensuring compliance with codes and regulations.
- Apply advanced electrical engineering techniques across all project phases from concept through construction.
- Plan and incorporate future-ready design strategies for safety, functionality, resiliency, and long-term performance.
