WSP USA in California seeks an Assistant Vice President, Electrical Engineer to lead complex building projects within the Property & Buildings team. The role emphasizes design leadership, client engagement, and business development across K-12, higher education, civic, and commercial facilities.

You will oversee electrical design through concept to construction, mentor cross-functional teams, and help grow the practice while ensuring compliance with codes and safety policies.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• 10+ years of post‑education experience as an Electrical Engineer.
• Experience with electrical design for building projects in education, industrial, commercial sectors, incl. DSA-regulated projects.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate, review, and approve electrical design plans ensuring compliance with codes and regulations.
• Apply advanced electrical engineering techniques across all project phases, from concept to operations.
• Plan future-ready design strategies addressing safety, functionality, resiliency and long-term performance of building systems.
• Lead and mentor cross-functional engineering teams on mid- to large-scale projects, including budgets and schedules.
• Prepare and review technical documentation and presentations; support pursuits and client interviews.
