Farnsworth Group is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer - Building Systems in Phoenix, AZ. You will lead multi-project electrical design including power, lighting and fire alarm, interfacing with clients and contractors to drive projects to successful completion.

The role emphasizes client-facing responsibilities, mentoring staff, and contributing to design budgets and schedules. A PE license and strong collaboration skills are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or architectural engineering.
• PE license is required.
• 5–8+ years of professional experience in power and lighting design for buildings.
• Prior management or mentoring of staff required.
• Ability to travel.
• Strong and communicative team player in a multi-disciplinary environment.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare accurate power, lighting and fire alarm construction drawings with specs.
• Perform construction administration including submittal reviews and revisions.
• Develop preliminary schematics through final designs including calculations and layouts.
• Conduct code research and application.
• Interface with clients and contractors to lead projects to completion.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and coordination of production staff.
• Assist in maintaining budgets and schedules while ensuring quality.
• Perform quality control reviews of electrical work.
• Support business development through fee proposals and project scoping.
• Other duties as assigned.
