Farnsworth Group, a nationally recognized architectural engineering and surveying firm, seeks an Electrical Project Engineer to lead planning, design, and execution of electrical building systems.

You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate with clients and architects, and manage budgets and schedules while contributing to proposals and business development. A PE license and 8–12+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8–12+ years of electrical design experience for building systems.
• PE license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical system design for building projects, including service distribution and lighting.
• Own discipline deliverables from schematic through construction with quality control.
• Prepare calculations, equipment selections, drawings, and specs.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and staffing with project managers.
• Interface with clients, architects, and contractors to resolve issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and support department standards.
