Zusammenfassung

Burns & McDonnell seeks a Senior Distribution Engineer to lead design teams for 2.4kV to 34.5kV overhead and underground utility projects. You will supervise design and construction activities, adapt plans to budget and client needs, and ensure high-quality deliverables.

You will review calculations, apply NESC standards, mentor engineers, and participate in sales efforts and cost proposals. Travel to project sites is expected as needed.

Qualifikationen

• ABET-accredited program with 7+ years distribution engineering experience or FE + 7+ years experience; EPC project experience preferred.
• Master's in Engineering with 6+ years distribution experience; EPC project experience preferred.
• PE license preferred; ability to travel and lead large projects.

Aufgaben

• Lead design of distribution packages for overhead and underground projects.
• Review cable pulling, voltage drop, and pole loading calculations.
• Apply NESC and utility standards; manage changes and project scope/budget.
• Provide QA/QC and construction administration oversight.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers; lead cost proposals and qualifications.
• Develop relationships with clients, pursue new business opportunities, and support sales efforts.
