Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Crew Leader to plan, organize, and supervise electrical crews on mission-critical facilities projects.

You will ensure high-quality installation, manage materials and tools, maintain as-built drawings, and enforce safety and QC standards on a day-to-day basis. Responsibilities include coordinating labor, preparing information packages, tracking hours and inventory, and reporting incidents promptly.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in the electrical industry with a Highs School Degree or GED
• 4+ years of experience with an associate degree

Responsibilities

• Material Phasing – Organize material by areas/floors and track inventories
• Tools & Equipment - Identify tools and equipment for each crew and track them with sign-in/out sheets
• Information Packages – Ensure each crew activity has drawings, shop drawings, panel schedules, cut sheets, etc.
• Keep control of breaks and ensure productivity
• Submit daily hours/units reports for each employee to Foreman
• Perform QC inspections following the QC plan and checklists
• Install work to professional and high-quality standards
• Maintain accurate as-built drawings and log updates weekly
• Inventory all tools & equipment daily and secure them
• Report lost/stolen/damaged tools
• Review and sign AHA documents for Foreman scope of work
• Submit weekly equipment inspection sheets
• Report accidents/incidents within 24 hours
• Clean up and leave work areas broom-clean at day end
