Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Crew Leader to plan, organize, and supervise electrical crews in our Modular Mission Critical production campus near Richmond, VA. You will ensure quality, safety compliance, and timely delivery of work orders while maintaining accurate drawings and logs.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, working at heights, and daily coordination of crew tasks, tools, and materials. A strong safety mindset and practical field leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading electrical crews and coordinating field work.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Material phasing and organizing materials by area or floor.
• Identify tools and equipment and manage gang box sign-in/out.
• Prepare information packages for crew activities (drawings, schedules, cut sheets).
• Maintain breaks and manage time effectively.
• Submit daily hours/units for each employee.
• Perform quality control inspections per QC plan and checklists.
• Install work to high-quality standards.
• Update and log as-built drawings weekly.
• Inventory tools/equipment daily and secure it.
• Report lost/stolen/damaged tools.
• Review and sign off on AHAs for the foreman scope.
• Submit daily equipment inspection sheets weekly.
• Follow procedures for accident reporting within 24 hours.
• Ensure clean-up and work areas are broom-swept daily.
