Job summary

ENERCON's Nuclear Services Group is seeking Principal Electrical Components Engineers to serve as recognized Subject Matter Experts for critical nuclear plant electrical components. This position can be based in any ENERCON office or remote within the United States.

Candidates will provide technical leadership in one or more areas such as Emergency DC Power Systems, Transformers, Generators/AVR, MV and LV power distribution, and will mentor engineers while supporting lifecycle management and

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering is required.
10+ years of experience supporting power generation, utility, industrial, or nuclear electrical systems.
PE license or ability/desire to obtain is required or preferred.
Experience with lifecycle management, reliability, and equipment replacement.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership for assigned electrical components and power distribution systems.
Support design modifications, lifecycle management, upgrades, and modernization projects.
Develop engineering evaluations, calculations, specifications, and reports.
Perform root cause analyses and reliability improvements.
Engage with nuclear utility clients as a trusted technical advisor and participate in site visits
