Job summary

ENERCON's Nuclear Services Group seeks Principal Electrical Components Engineers to act as SME experts for nuclear plant electrical components. This role can be remote within the United States and offers leadership across lifecycle management, modernization projects, and technical advancement.

Responsibilities include providing engineering evaluations, root cause analyses, and reliable performance assessments; engaging clients as trusted technical advisors; mentoring engineers, and leading

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and SME-level expertise in one or more components.
10+ years in power generation, utility, industrial, or nuclear electrical systems.
PE license or willingness to obtain.
Experience developing engineering change packages, evaluations, and specifications.
Familiar with IEEE, NFPA, NEMA, ANSI, and EPRI guidance.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership for electrical components and power distribution systems.
Perform root cause analyses, reliability assessments, and corrective actions.
Engage with nuclear utility clients as a trusted technical advisor and present solutions.
Offer technical direction and mentoring to junior engineers.
