Job summary

ENERCON's Nuclear Services Group is seeking Principal Electrical Components Engineers to act as SME for critical electrical components in nuclear plants. The role is based in any ENERCON office or remote within the United States, enabling leadership across projects and client interactions.

You will drive technical direction, mentor engineers, and handle lifecycle, reliability, and modernization activities while collaborating with stakeholders and field teams.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated SME-level expertise in one or more listed components.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with lifecycle management or reliability for electrical power components.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and engineering expertise for assigned electrical component and/or power distribution systems; support design modifications, lifecycle management, and modernization projects.
• Perform root cause analyses and equipment performance evaluations; develop recommendations to improve reliability and asset performance.
• Serve as trusted technical advisor to nuclear utility clients; present solutions to engineering and station leadership; participate in client meetings and site visits.
