Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc.'s Nuclear Services Group is seeking Principal Electrical Components Engineers to serve as SME for critical nuclear plant electrical components. This role can be based in any ENERCON office or remotely within the United States.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate SME-level expertise in one or more areas such as Emergency DC power systems, transformers, generators/exciters/AVR, MV and LV power distribution, and will provide technical leadership, design support, lifecycle

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
10+ years of experience supporting power generation, utility, industrial, or nuclear electrical systems.
Demonstrated SME-level expertise in one or more listed components.
Experience supporting lifecycle management or reliability for electrical power components.
Professional Engineer (PE) License or ability/desire to obtain.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership and engineering expertise for electrical components and power distribution systems.
Perform root cause analyses and equipment performance evaluations.
Serve as a trusted technical advisor to nuclear utility clients; present solutions to leadership.
Provide technical direction and on-the-job training to engineers; mentor team.
