Job summary

ENERCON's Nuclear Services Group seeks Principal Electrical Components Engineers to serve as SME leaders for critical nuclear plant electrical components. Remote within the United States or at any ENERCON office, you will lead technical projects and mentor engineers while engaging with utility clients and site leadership.

You bring 10+ years in power generation electrical systems, strong analytical and communication skills, and a PE license or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• SME-level expertise in one or more electrical components listed.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with lifecycle management, reliability, and procurement support.
• PE license or ability to obtain is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for assigned electrical components and power distribution systems; support design changes, upgrades, lifecycle management and modernization projects.
• Perform root cause analyses and equipment performance evaluations; develop recommendations to improve reliability.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to nuclear utility clients; present solutions to leadership and participate in site visits.
• Provide technical direction and mentoring to engineers; work independently with guidance as needed.
