Job summary

ENERCON is seeking Principal Electrical Components Engineers to serve as SMEs for critical nuclear plant electrical components. This role can be remote within the United States and requires deep expertise in areas such as batteries, transformers, generators, and switchgear.

You will lead design and reliability efforts, mentor engineers, and engage with clients across projects. Candidates should have 10+ years in power systems, a PE license or pursuit, and strong analytical and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 10+ years of experience supporting power generation, utility, industrial, or nuclear electrical systems.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for electrical component and/or power distribution systems, supporting design modifications and lifecycle management.
• Perform root cause analyses and equipment performance evaluations to improve reliability and asset performance.
• Engage with nuclear utility clients as a trusted technical advisor and present solutions to leadership.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide direction on complex projects.
