Job summary

ENERCON's Nuclear Services Group seeks Principal Electrical Components Engineers to act as recognized SMEs for critical nuclear plant electrical components. This role can be remote within the United States or based in any ENERCON office, offering leadership and mentorship across projects, and engaging with utility clients and site teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.
At least 10+ years in power generation, utility, industrial, or nuclear electrical systems.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership for electrical components and power distribution systems; support design modifications, upgrades, lifecycle management, and modernization projects.
Perform root cause analyses and system performance evaluations; develop recommendations to improve reliability and asset performance.
Serve as trusted technical advisor to nuclear utility clients and present solutions to leadership; participate in client meetings and site visits.
Provide technical direction and mentoring to engineers; handle assignments independently with guidance as needed.
