Job summary

ENERCON's Nuclear Services Group is seeking Principal Electrical Components Engineers to serve as recognized Subject Matter Experts (SME) for critical nuclear plant electrical components. This role can be based in any ENERCON office or remote within the United States.

Responsibilities include technical leadership for electrical components, root-cause analyses, client engagement, and mentoring of engineers, with travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience supporting power generation, utility, industrial, or nuclear electrical systems.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and engineering expertise for assigned electrical component and/or power distribution systems.
• Perform root cause analyses and equipment performance evaluations; develop improvement recommendations.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to nuclear utility clients and present solutions to leadership.
• Provide technical direction and on-the-job training to less experienced engineers.
