Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a seasoned drafter to prepare and review design drawings for nuclear power projects. You will work in a multi-disciplinary team and expand 3D CAD skills in AutoCAD 3D and MicroStation.

Responsibilities include creating scaled drawings, coordinating with engineers and vendors, and supporting field walkdowns as needed. Hybrid schedule requires in-office work three days per week.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in drafting or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of physical design experience including grounding layouts and conduit drawings.
• Advanced drafting using AutoCAD or MicroStation and 3D visualization skills.

Responsibilities

• Create drawings to scale showing proposed installations relative to existing facilities and specs.
• Prepare design drawings based on input from design teams and engineers.
• Assist experienced designers on client walkdowns to gather information.
• Interface with vendors and contractors to adapt drawings as needed.
• Support multi-project drafting tasks and manage competing priorities.
