Job summary

Sargent & Lundy offers a hybrid work arrangement with three days in the office and two remote days, focusing on drafting in a multi-disciplinary team. The role emphasizes CAD work, 3D design training, and creating scalable master sketches to accurately map installations and dimensions.

Your duties include collaborating with designers on client sites, gathering data during walkdowns, and communicating drawing details to vendors to refine designs.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or high school diploma with technical design experience.
• Advanced drafting experience using MicroStation or equivalent CAD tools.
• Ability to visualize parts in 3D without CAD.
• Ability to multi-task across projects.

Responsibilities

• Draft design drawings in a multi-disciplined team setting based on inputs.
• Apply CAD skills and gain hands-on training in 3D design software.
• Create master sketches to scale showing installation relations and specs.
• Assist designers on client walkdowns to gather design information.
• Explain drawings to vendors/contractors to support design adjustments.
