Job summary

ArchKey Solutions is seeking a Senior BIM Specialist to support electrical installations by developing fully constructible 3D models and detailed construction documents. Based out of our San Jose, CA or San Francisco, CA offices, you will collaborate with project managers and design teams to ensure timely, accurate BIM deliverables.

You will model, annotate, and clash-detect in Autodesk software, review vendor drawings, and assist in creating calculations and schedules.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in BIM, engineering or related field.
• 3–4 years of BIM modeling experience.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Evolve software is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical contracts, plans, drawings and specs.
• Desire to learn electrical design and construction; team player.

Responsibilities

• Produces constructible BIM models and detailed electrical documents.
• Collaborates with project managers and design teams to move projects forward.
• Applies modeling, clash detection and sheet annotation techniques.
• Prepares calculations, cable pull schedules, and reports as needed.
• Participates in BIM coordination meetings and communicates with stakeholders.
