Job summary

ArchKey is seeking a BIM Specialist to deliver constructible 3D models and detailed construction documents for electrical and low voltage systems. The role is based in our Plymouth, MN or Minneapolis, MN office with a hybrid schedule.

The ideal candidate will use Revit to produce 2D/3D drawings, review vendor submittals, and support project teams while staying current with NEC and safety codes. A growth mindset and collaboration with field personnel are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience in BIM-related field.
• 1-2 years BIM modeling experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Evolve is a plus.
• Ability to read electrical plans and specs.

Responsibilities

• Provide BIM services for projects and develop constructible 3D models and detailed electrical construction documents.
• Produce 3D model content and construction installation documents using Revit.
• Assist with low voltage systems design coordination and quantity takeoffs.
• Support project managers and estimators with calculations and schedules.
• Attend BIM coordination meetings and collaborate with design teams.
• Maintain communication with stakeholders and implement plan revisions as needed.
