Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the utility industry.
• Detailed knowledge of project management fundamentals.
• Proficiency with MS Project and/or Primavera scheduling software.
• Strong written communications; capable of formal letters, invoices, and reports.
• Strong oral communications; able to present to large diverse groups.
• High energy and ability to work in a fast paced, ambiguous environment.
• Proven ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Experience negotiating and making decisions in a matrix organization.
• Knowledge of contract pricing mechanisms (Fixed Price, T&M, Cost Plus).

Responsibilities

• Lead projects per PMBOK principles, ensuring safe, cost-effective, quality execution.
• Manage client relationships and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Oversee contracts, changes, submittals, approvals, and subcontractor management.
• Implement change control and risk management processes.
• Support EH&S and Quality programs for projects.
• Develop thorough estimates and proposals.
• Conduct effective project meetings and align client expectations.
• Provide performance feedback to team and management; report project status and financials.
• Ensure accurate invoicing and cash flow management.
