Job summary

Golden State Foods is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Manager to lead the Facilities EHS and Training programs. You will ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental rules, and company policies while coordinating training and safety initiatives across facilities.

The role emphasizes reducing hazards, implementing safety processes, and guiding teams through regulatory requirements to advance health, safety and productivity goals.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering, Safety or Risk Management.
• CSP certification and OSHA 30 Hour are a plus.
• Experience in manufacturing safety and environmental programs.

Responsibilities

• Identify and interpret regulatory standards affecting operations and guide plans for compliance.
• Develop, implement and monitor safety processes and training to prevent accidents.
• Develop, implement and monitor environmental processes to meet regulatory requirements.
• Identify hazardous conditions and design corrective programs.
• Support plant personnel to improve safety and health.
• Plan and monitor day-to-day training schedules and report on performance.
• Prepare training materials compliant with directives and policies.
• Lead and mentor managers on safety and training best practices.
• Coordinate safety inspections and interface with insurers on post-loss activities.
