Job summary

Jobot seeks an experienced Environmental Health & Safety Manager to lead safety and regulatory programs across a fast-paced food manufacturing operation in Vernon, CA.

The role requires driving investigations, building a proactive safety culture, and partnering with operations, maintenance, and quality teams to reduce risk and ensure OSHA/EPA/Cal/OSHA compliance. On-site, permanent position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of EHS leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, Cal/OSHA regulations.
• Proven incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Bilingual Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead all EHS programs, policies, and training for the facility.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and Cal/OSHA regulations.
• Manage incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Develop safety metrics, KPIs, and leadership reporting.
• Conduct audits, risk assessments, and safety observations.
• Oversee workers' comp and return-to-work programs.
• Drive environmental compliance including waste and air quality.
• Partner with operations to mitigate hazards and improve safety.
• Support capital projects with EHS requirements.
