Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Multi-Media Environmental Health & Safety Permitting & Compliance Project Manager to lead permitting and compliance projects for industrial clients in the Northeast. Location is flexible across New York and New England with field work and client management responsibilities.

The role requires a BS in Engineering or Environmental Science, 10+ years of related experience, and credentials such as PE/CSP/CESCO/CHMM are preferred. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading environmental compliance and permitting projects.
• Strong knowledge of EPA and state regulations (CAA, CWA, EPCRA, RCRA, CERCLA).
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead environmental compliance, permitting, and related projects for Northeast industrial clients.
• Serve as a technical resource on environmental compliance and permitting.
• Develop and implement permitting and compliance strategies for projects.
• Assist clients in identifying monitoring, planning, training, and reporting protocols.
• Meet client needs via meetings, proposals, and maintaining relationships.
• Maintain affiliations to stay current on regulatory requirements.
