Job summary

Stantec seeks a Multi-Media Environmental Health & Safety Permitting & Compliance Project Manager to lead environmental permitting and compliance efforts for industrial clients in the Northeast. Location is flexible through New York and New England; travel up to 20% may be required.

The role requires a BS in Engineering or Environmental Science, 10+ years of experience, and PM experience. PE preferred; EMS/ISO knowledge and strong client-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years related experience.
• PE strongly preferred; CSP/CESCO/CHMM preferred.
• Field experience is mandatory; consulting and PM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental compliance, permitting, and related projects for Northeast clients.
• Advise on regulatory analyses of facility operations and reporting.
• Develop and implement Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and ISO-based programs.
• Lead permitting and compliance strategies and client communications.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, and project deliverables to meet client needs.
