Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Multi-Media Environmental Health & Safety Permitting & Compliance Project Manager to lead permitting and compliance projects for industrial clients in the Northeast, including due diligence, audits, EMS implementation, and life-cycle facility support.

Location is flexible through New York and the New England region. Travel up to 20% may be required to support EHS assessments and client meetings.

Qualifications

• Direct experience supporting or leading environmental compliance projects.
• Knowledge of EPA/state rules: CAA, CWA, EPCRA, RCRA, CERCLA, DOT.
• Experience with EMS/ISO and auditing.
• Field experience with industrial EHS compliance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental compliance, permitting, and related projects for industrial clients in the Northeast.
• Serve as a technical resource on environmental permitting and compliance.
• Develop and execute permitting strategies; monitor regulatory reporting.
• Identify monitoring, training, and reporting protocols and ensure client needs are met.
• Maintain client relationships and lead proposals and project execution within scope, schedule, and budget.
