Job summary

MNP, LLC, a Fontana Gruppo Company, Utica, Michigan, seeks an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to lead all EHS programs across North America manufacturing sites. You will develop, implement, and sustain policies ensuring regulatory compliance, and partner with site leadership and HR to embed safety culture.

The role requires 5+ years of EHS leadership, CSP preferred, OSHA-30 and HAZWOPER 40, multi-site oversight, and manufacturing experience in steel processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years progressive EHS experience at plant level
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred
• OSHA-30-hour and HAZWOPER 40-hour certified
• Degree in occupational health and safety or related field preferred
• ISO 45000 / ISO 14001 knowledge preferred
• Must have team-management experience with multi-site and multi-state oversight
• Manufacturing experience required, preferably in steel processing, heat treatment, or plating and coating
• Experience with environmental regulations such as EPA requirements including RCRA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and EPCRA (Tier II)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain health, safety, and environmental policies for management review and implementation
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and standards, including customer and corporate requirements
• Write and maintain SMS and EMS procedures and other company systems
• Create onboarding safety content for employees, visitors, customers, and contractors
• Develop training matrices for onboarding and annual/periodic training
• Attend professional society events to stay current on regulations
• Complete sustainability assessments and assist Sales with environmental reporting
• Maintain Hazard Communications Program and related permits and certifications
• Support site leadership with ISO 14001 certification and regulatory requirements
• Lead investigations and root cause analyses of near misses and accidents
