Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Safety or equivalent.
• 10+ years leading large-scale manufacturing Occupational Health and Safety programs.
• Advanced training or certification in EHS and risk management preferred.
• Strong knowledge of machine guarding, lockout tag out, electrical hazard training and protective procedures.
• Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations and policies.

Responsibilities

• Ensures facilities operations comply with OSHA, EPA, MPCA and other rules.
• Partners with management to develop and implement EHS policies and procedures.
• Leads root-cause investigations of workplace incidents and reports.
• Analyzes incident reports and metrics to improve safety.
• Manages Worker’s Compensation claims for the organization.
• Maintains internal records per federal and state guidelines.
• Prepares monthly safety data and reports for senior leadership.
• Leads and budgets the yearly Safety program.
