Job summary

Nahan is seeking an EHS Manager to lead and optimize the company’s safety programs across multiple sites in MN and PA. This role reports to the VP of Human Resources and requires travel to monitor, inspect, train, and audit operations.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in environmental health and safety within manufacturing, a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Safety, and strong leadership skills. This hybrid role combines office and manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Safety or equivalent with 10+ years leading large-scale manufacturing safety programs.
• Experience in OSHA, EPA, MPCA or similar regulatory frameworks and risk reduction.

Responsibilities

• Ensure facilities operations comply with federal, state, and local safety regulations.
• Develop, implement and communicate EHS policies across mult-site operations.
• Lead investigations of workplace incidents and drive corrective actions.
• Manage workers' compensation program and safety budgets.
• Provide training and mentorship to leadership to foster a safety culture.
