Job summary

Trane Technologies in Florida is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety professional to lead the regional EHS program, coordinate safety processes at commercial offices, and ensure OSHA, DOT and other regulations are followed.

Responsibilities include inspections, training, incident investigation, data analysis, and supporting safety committees; 65% field presence with technicians and 35% administrative work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental or Safety Sciences/Engineering, or related field preferred.
• One or more safety-related professional certification (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHSM) desired.
• 3+ years of practical environmental health and safety management experience at a medium-large site.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate safety process efforts in commercial offices as directed by Regional EHS Leader.
• Conduct inspections, risk assessments and jobsite visits at customer sites.
• Ensure safety records comply with OSHA, DOT, provincial/state regulations and Trane procedures.
• Implement Trane safety policies and procedures for personnel.
• Analyze safety data and coordinate continual safety improvements.
• Lead safety training programs and conduct new-hire safety training.
