Job summary

DSJ Global is seeking an EHS Director to lead safety, environmental compliance, transportation safety, and risk management across a multi-site operation. You will partner with executive leadership to strengthen the safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting continued growth.

The role requires 7+ years in progressive EHS leadership, multi-site experience, and strong knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience in industrial, environmental services, logistics, transportation, chemicals, or manufacturing.
• Multi-site EHS leadership experience across locations.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulatory requirements.
• Experience implementing enterprise-wide safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of company-wide environmental, health, and safety programs.
• Drive proactive safety culture across locations and teams.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and applicable regulations.
• Manage environmental permits, reporting, inspections, and compliance initiatives.
• Conduct audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews to identify improvements.
• Investigate incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Partner with operations and leadership to reduce risk and improve performance.
• Support fleet and transportation safety initiatives across dispersed network.
• Develop and track EHS metrics, KPIs, and accountability measures.
• Lead emergency response, incident management, and business continuity efforts.
• Provide EHS training, coaching, and support to leaders.
