Lakeside HR Group has been engaged by a major North American manufacturer to recruit a Director of EHS to lead environmental, health, and safety across multiple sites. The role requires an experienced EHS leader who can drive safety culture, regulatory compliance, audits, and continuous improvement while partnering with plant leaders and executive teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental Sciences, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience within manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to influence operations through collaboration with plant leadership.

Responsabilités

• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS programs across facilities.
• Identify safety/environmental risks and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct audits and inspections to ensure OSHA and environmental compliance.
• Partner with plant leadership to improve safety performance and accountability.
• Investigate incidents and root causes to implement sustainable actions.
• Monitor EHS metrics and report performance to leadership.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs using LMS and other tools.
• Support PSM, RMP, and other regulatory programs.
• Travel ~40% to support facilities and coach local leadership.
• Mentor and develop EHS team members to drive continuous improvement.
