Job summary

GEODIS seeks a Senior Director of Safety to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for enterprise-wide health and safety across a multi-site logistics network. You will design and execute a comprehensive safety management system, ensuring regulatory compliance, reducing risk, and strengthening ESG reporting with a focus on safety performance and CAPA processes.

You will lead a matrixed team, partner with Operations, Engineering, Facilities, and HR, and drive incident prevention,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field required.
• 8–10+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience.
• 5+ years leading multi-site EHS programs.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute enterprise-wide safety strategies aligned with business growth.
• Serve as chief internal advisor to executive leadership on safety risk and long-term enterprise value.
• Establish enterprise-wide health and safety standards, policies, and governance across a multi-site network.
• Travel 40–50% for site visits, audits, and customer meetings.
• Lead training initiatives to improve safety leadership and hazard recognition.
