Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America seeks an experienced Senior Director of Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) to set the North American EHS strategy and oversee programs across PECNA's operations. This leader will manage risk, regulatory compliance, and a centralized EHS team, collaborating with site and global leaders, including Japan-based stakeholders.

The role covers Sparks, NV and De Soto, KS sites, requiring strong executive leadership and a proven track record in safety culture

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive EHS experience in complex manufacturing operations.
• 10+ years of leadership experience across multiple EHS disciplines and sites.
• Knowledge of environmental, occupational health, machine safety, and emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Set and drive enterprise EHS strategy, governance, and operating priorities.
• Serve as principal advisor on EHS risk, regulatory obligations, and performance.
• Lead centralized EHS organization spanning Environmental, People Safety, and Production Safety.
• Establish standards, policies, and systems translating global expectations to sites.
• Ensure compliance and effective monitoring/assurance across sites.
