Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America in De Soto, Kansas, seeks a Director to lead Employee Engagement, Employee Relations and Workforce Risk programs across PECNA's sites in Kansas and Nevada.

The role drives enterprise strategy, governance, and leader capability in labor relations and employee experience, partnering with Legal, CPO and site leadership to reduce risk and improve engagement across a large hourly workforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in HR, labor relations, business, communications or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive HR, Employee Relations, Labor Relations or Employee Engagement experience, including leadership responsibility.
• Demonstrated experience developing positive employee relations and union-readiness strategies in a large hourly workforce environment.
• Experience leading complex Employee Relations matters and partnering with employment/labor counsel.
• Experience building enterprise programs, standards, training, communications and measurement across multiple locations.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state and local labor and employment laws, including the National Labor Relations Act.

Responsibilities

• Lead PECNA's integrated Employee Engagement, Employee Relations and Workforce Risk strategy across PECNA.
• Develop and lead the Employee Relations team and site ER Managers with governance and compliance.
• Lead the Employee Experience team and set enterprise priorities for listening, recognition and engagement.
• Create and implement a union-readiness and risk mitigation strategy with leadership and Legal.
• Build leader capability and educate on labor law, employee communications and respectful workplace expectations.
• Establish enterprise communication standards and proactive employee communications campaigns.
• Set KPIs, dashboards and reporting for engagement, ER trends, and union readiness; provide actionable insights to leadership.
