Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America seeks a Director of Engagement & Workforce Risk to lead enterprise Employee Engagement, Employee Relations, and workforce-risk strategy across PECNA sites. This role partners with CPO, Legal, Internal Communications and site HR to ensure a responsive, compliant program that strengthens leader capability and enhances the employee experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business, Communications or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive HR, Employee Relations, Labor Relations or Employee Engagement experience, including leadership responsibility.
• Demonstrated experience developing positive employee relations and union-readiness strategies in a large hourly workforce environment.
• Experience leading complex Employee Relations matters and partnering closely with employment/labor counsel.
• Experience building enterprise programs, standards, training, communications and measurement across multiple locations.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state and local labor and employment laws, including the National Labor Relations Act.

Responsibilities

• Lead PECNA's integrated Employee Engagement, Employee Relations and Workforce Risk strategy.
• Lead and develop the Employee Relations team across PECNA sites.
• Lead and develop the Employee Experience team and set enterprise priorities for listening and communications.
• Develop and implement positive employee relations and union-risk mitigation strategies with CPO and Legal.
• Build leader capability through education on labor law and organizing-risk mitigation.
• Create processes to identify and resolve employee issues using surveys, focus groups and data.
• Establish enterprise employee-communication standards with Legal and Internal Communications.
• Maintain union-petition readiness and a 30‑day response plan.
• Establish a rapid-response operating model for supervisors across sites.
• Maintain union-response materials and leader talking points with Legal/IR.
• Coordinate with Legal/OEC on compliance and policy alignment.
• Set KPIs and dashboards for engagement and risk; provide actionable insights.
• Partner with PECNA Institute to embed leadership capabilities.
• Create a closed-loop model linking ER insights to employee experience actions.
