Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is seeking a Sr. Manager, Employee Relations & Workforce Risk to lead enterprise ER strategy, investigations, and governance across PECNA.

You will coach site ER managers, build enterprise capability, and partner with counsel on high‑risk matters to mitigate workforce risk. The role requires strong leadership, governance, and data reporting skills, with a focus on consistency, compliance, and positive employee relations across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Essential: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Labor Relations or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive HR/Employee Relations experience, including leadership of complex workplace investigations.
• Experience partnering with employment counsel and ethics/compliance functions.
• Demonstrated ability to build ER frameworks, governance, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own and strengthen PECNA Employee Relations operating model, triage, and case standards.
• Lead, coach, and develop site Employee Relations Managers with a unified approach.
• Build enterprise ER capability through training for HRBPs and leaders.
• Establish HRBP ownership of Tier 1 matters with tools, coaching, and reviews.
• Own ER data governance and cross-PECNA reporting including KPIs and trends.
• Interface with OEC, ensure compliance with Panasonic policies and escalation protocols.
• Partner with counsel on high-risk matters and emerging legal issues.
• Translate ER trends into prevention and leadership interventions.
• Set confidentiality, independence, and judgment standards for sensitive matters.
