Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America seeks a Senior Director of Environment, Health & Safety to lead enterprise EHS strategy for its North American operations, including Sparks, NV, and De Soto, KS. You will oversee Environmental Compliance, People Safety, and Production/Machine Safety, aligning with Japan-based stakeholders to ensure global standards and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Safety Management, or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive EHS experience in complex manufacturing or industrial operations.
• 10+ years of leadership experience over multiple EHS disciplines/sites.
• Demonstrated knowledge of environmental compliance, occupational health, safety, risk management, and emergency response.
• Ability to lead through influence across executive, site, functional, and global stakeholder groups.

Responsibilities

• Set enterprise EHS strategy, governance, and priorities across North American operations.
• Lead centralized EHS organization spanning Environmental Compliance, People Safety, and Production/Machine Safety.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, permits, and global standards; monitor compliance and assurance systems.
• Oversee hazard identification, risk assessment, incident management, and corrective actions.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, HR, Legal, Facilities, and EPC teams to embed EHS into daily management.
