Job summary

Panasonic Corporation of North America is seeking a Senior Manager, Employee Relations & Workforce Risk to lead ER strategy enterprise-wide, build HRBP capability, and align investigations with compliance. This role partners with OEC, legal, and leadership to drive proactive risk mitigation and governance across PECNA sites.

The position requires strong judgment, confidentiality, and the ability to navigate high-risk, multi-site environments, including collaboration with executives and HR

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Labor Relations, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive HR/Employee Relations experience, including leadership of complex workplace investigations.
• Experience building ER standards, training, case-management governance, and reporting.
• Demonstrated experience partnering with employment counsel and ethics/compliance functions.

Responsibilities

• Own and strengthen the PECNA Employee Relations operating model, including definitions, triage, escalation, investigation standards, documentation, corrective action governance, case closure, and quality expectations.
• Lead, coach, and develop the site Employee Relations Managers, ensuring site-level responsiveness, compliance, and high-quality Tier 2 investigations.
• Build enterprise ER capability through training for HRBPs and leaders, including investigation fundamentals, documentation, corrective action, retaliation prevention, and respectful workplace expectations.
• Establish HRBP ownership of Tier 1 matters and create tools, coaching, certification, and quality reviews for consistent execution.
• Own ER data governance and reporting across PECNA, including Tier 1/2 capture, taxonomy, audits, KPIs, trend reporting, and enterprise reporting processes.
• Serve as PECNA's primary ER interface with OEC; support processes and compliance with global Panasonic policies; ensure escalation protocols and trend reviews.
