Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Senior EH&S Technician located in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. You will implement EH&S programs, support the Path2Zero initiative, and serve as the plant resource for environmental, industrial hygiene and health and safety matters.

The role requires practical on‑the‑job experience, strong communication, and the ability to coach teams on safe work practices while ensuring compliance and continuous improvement across plant operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years EH&S or OH&S experience
• Canada-based work eligibility; no visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Implements detailed, task-level EH&S programs following company work processes.
• Ensures EH&S aspects of operating discipline meet performance goals.
• Acts as plant resource for EH&S procedures, guidelines and standards.
• Serves as plant contact for Environmental, IH and Health & Safety issues.
• Coaches teams and individuals on EH&S tasks and activities.
• Assists in developing and achieving area or plant EH&S goals.
• Ensures compliance tasks are completed.
• Performs/coordinates environmental and IH monitoring, data collection, analysis and reporting.
