Job summary

Dow in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, seeks a Senior EH&S Technician to implement the EH&S management system and support the Path2Zero program, aiming to create a net-zero emissions site.

You will act as a plant resource for EH&S information, coach teams, ensure compliance, and perform monitoring, data collection and reporting to drive continuous improvement.

This Canada-based role requires a high school diploma and at least three years of EH&S experience, with eligibility to work in Canada.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of EH&S, OH&S or related experience.
• Canada-work eligibility; no visa sponsorship for this position.

Responsibilities

• Implements detailed, day-to-day EH&S programs using established work processes.
• Ensures EH&S aspects of operating discipline are applied to meet performance goals.
• Acts as plant resource for EH&S information, guidelines and standards.
• Serves as plant contact for Environmental, IH, and Health & Safety issues.
• Coaches teams and individuals on EH&S tasks and activities.
• Develops and achieves area or plant EH&S goals.
• Ensures compliance tasks are completed.
• Performs and coordinates Environmental and IH monitoring, data collection, and reporting.
