Job summary

Aecon is seeking an experienced EH&S Advisor to support health and safety on our Charlotte, NC project teams. You will audit programs, develop corrective actions, and drive continuous safety improvements across sites and crews.

Reporting to the EH&S Director, you will educate staff, track metrics, and ensure incident investigations are thorough and timely. The role requires a minimum of five years in construction safety, OSHA certifications, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of EH&S management experience in construction.
• Degree in Occupational Safety or related field preferred.
• OSHA 30 and OSHA 510 certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Promote, educate, and reinforce safety policies and standards.
• Train project staff in safety procedures and regulations.
• Track and report safety-related statistics and incidents.
• Manage Return to Work and Modified duties at field level.
• Conduct EH&S inspections, observations and investigations.
• Ensure proper case management for injuries or illnesses.
