Job summary

Aecon is a North American construction and infrastructure company delivering health, safety, and environmental advisory services on major projects. The EH&S Advisor provides safety guidance to project teams, audits EH&S programs, and drives corrective actions to improve workplace safety.

Reporting to the EH&S Director, this role requires OSHA 30 and OSHA 510 credentials, and a minimum of 5 years in EH&S management within construction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of EH&S management experience within the construction industry.
• OSHA 30 Construction Industry Outreach Program (U.S.) is required.
• OSHA 510 Construction Industry Standards (U.S.) is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote, educate, and reinforce Company Safety Policies and Regulatory Standards.
• Track and report safety-related statistics and incidents.
• Manage Return to Work and Modified duties cases at field level.
• Complete EH&S inspections, observations, and incident investigation reports.
• Support field activities and our Human Performance program.
