Job summary

CGS Federal, a government contractor, seeks a Senior eDiscovery Technician to support a Federal agency’s legal team in Austin, TX. The role focuses on processing and quality control of productions, using Relativity and related tools to ensure accuracy and defensibility.

Responsibilities include logging productions, virus scanning, document loading coordination, and ensuring load-ready data while complying with security requirements. U.S.

Qualifications

• Three years of eDiscovery technical experience supporting project tasks.
• Knowledge of information resources and data handling.
• Excellent analytical capabilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to deliver high-quality work under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Experience managing multiple tasks across projects.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Log productions in the Agency's eDiscovery Tracking System.
• Digest cover letters and describe the production.
• Obtain passwords from producing party if encrypted.
• Determine if documents qualify for loading into Relativity.
• Virus-scan productions using multiple tools.
• Follow protocol to address issues or reject productions.
• Copy clean productions to the Agency network.
• Handle documents (e.g., MOUs, BSA, RFPA) per protocol.
• Analyze data to determine required processing and protocols.
• Ensure data is load-ready and complete; escalate if not.
• Monitor for productions via email and FTP site.
• Scan and OCR paper documents for Relativity loading.
• Coordinate off-site scanning for large paper boxes.
